Medical Skilled Nursing:
Our nurses are trained in acute care provided in the home. Our nurses are specially skilled in home IV infusion therapy, diabetes management, orthopedic, cardiac conditions, wound care, blood draws and medication instruction. Treatments such as injections, urologic device maintenance, chemotherapy, IGG infusion, training in tube feedings or ostomy cares are provided as ordered by the physician.

Psychiatric Nursing:
Registered Nurses trained in psychiatric treatment care for patients with emotional disorders consistent with the physician's care plan. Medication monitoring and management and one-to-one intervention are some of the psychiatric nurse's duties. All psychiatric nurses have been approved by Medicare.

Home Health Aids:
Certified Nursing Assistants assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care. Our staff can also provide respite care to allow caregivers time away from the stresses of caring for a loved one. From grooming, bathing/dressing, assistance with a wheelchair or walker, preparing light meals to light housekeeping, our staff is available for a vast number of personal care duties. Services can be provided on an hourly basis or on a per visit basis.

Physical Therapy:
Licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants work to help patients regain physical function and improve range of motion. Therapists assist and / or train patients with gait training, use of wheelchair, walkers, artificial limbs, etc., and pain control.

Speech Therapy:
Licensed Speech Therapists provide an effective speech program assisting patients in learning to better use and comprehend language. Enhanced written, spoken, and nonverbal communication helps patients gain independence and improve quality of life.

Occupational Therapy:
Licensed Occupational and Occupational Therapy Assistants help watch patient learn to better perform activities of daily living. Activities may include eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting to promote independence.

Medical Social Services :
Licensed Clinical Social Workers assist patients in solving programs that may arise though illness, drug abuse, including social, financial and transportation problems. Our staff is familiar with a cast number of community resources to aid persons in need.

Home Companions :
Sunrise Rehab provide companionship, escort and errand services. Our companions will help you diversion activities and act as a helper and friend.

Our philosophy
Also includes providing for your home health care services cost effectively. Our staff is trained to determine when your skilled care services may be covered by Medicare. If so, we will provide you with alternative payment options to cover your treatment program.

Our highly experienced and professional staff
Are carefully selected and supervised by our RN Supervisors. They are thoroughly screened, including a criminal background and reference checks, and receive medical clearances. All caregivers employed by Sunrise Rehab Home Health Care agency are certified or licensed and attend ongoing continuing education and training programs.

Our Quality Assurance Committee,
Consisting of health care specialists from a variety of disciplines, regularly reviews our policies and procedures, as well as our performance to ensure that our high standards are followed consistently. Responding to the needs and concerns of our clients, the committee also provides insight and recommendations that are considered in the development of new programs and home health care services.
